Remedial Massage

What is Naturopathy?

Gentle therapeutic techniques to help you regain control of your health. Naturopathy is an approach to wellness that harnesses the body’s own innate ability to heal itself with the aid of natural remedies, nutritional counseling, and lifestyle changes.

Remedial Therapy

Remedial massage is a complementary therapy. It can be used to help people with
problems that affect muscles, tendons, ligaments, fascia, skin, joints or other connective tissue, as well as the lymphatic system.

Myofascial release is a soft tissue therapy that focuses on relaxing the deep tissues of the body, providing longer lasting and effective relief for the client. It uses slow and usually deep pressure to restore the proper health of the fascia. Sometimes your practitioner may use cupping therapy and or dry needling to assist with overactive motor/trigger points

Benefits may include

  • Increasing circulation (blood flow)
  • Increasing the mobility (movement) of your joints
  • Stimulating your damaged tissues to help them repair
  • Resetting motor points and stimulating the golgi receptors
  • Reducing inflammation, stress
  • Releasing chronic muscle pain

Remedial Massage may be claimed through Hicaps for those with private health insurance. Item codes are 105 & 205
