Osteopathy

Osteopathy

What is Osteopathy?

By assessing holistically, bones, joints, muscles, nervous system, fascia and organs functions are noted. By thoroughly assessing all aspects of the body through incorporating numerous hands on techniques, osteopaths strive to provide long term relief for individuals.

What is Osteopathy?

Osteopathy is a form of manual medicine that dates back to 1874, Osteopathy is based on unique biomechanical principles.  Osteopaths use an array of indirect or direct techniques to treat musculo-skeletal problems and other functional disorders of the body.  Osteopaths in Australia are primary health care practitioners, which means they are trained to recognise conditions which require medical referral.  Which consequently means they are also trained to carry out standard medical examinations of the cardiovascular, respiratory, and nervous systems.
